A collection of various travel and events videos. While these are personal productions for my own enjoyment, I usually shoot with the idea that some day they will be seen by a wider audience. So I have you in mind.
IKONS OF THE ORTHODOX CHURCH
Ikons of the Orthodox Church world combines a mixture of images from a temporary art gallery exhibition plus images from Georgian churches. I recorded the music in Brono and I think it is a little distorted in places. However it is royalty free. Most of the exhibition Ikons had an origin in Russia and date from the 16th century. No commentary, just a flow of images.

The stolen Stone of Scone was recovered from Westminster Abby on Christmas Day 1950 ! On the Dead Sea Scroll's solar calendar, after the Vernal Equinox starting the next Biblical Year, it was placed on the altar in the ruins of Arbroath Abbey on the 11th April 1951. With a 21st March Vernal Equinox that year, this means that the Stone of Scone was placed on the altar of Arbroath Abby on the last seventh day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread: a Holy High Day ! So in the same BIBLICAL year: • 1951 was 3400 years and the 68th Jubilee after the Exodus from Egypt ! (Working with a 4BC birth of Christ) • Before the next Vernal Equinox King George VI died on the 6th of February 1951. • Queen Elizabeth II immediately ascended the throne - although only later coronated. i.e. The Stone of Scone was recovered in the Jubilee 7x7 49th year of 1950, and later placed on the High Altar of Arbroath Abby on the seventh day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread - in the Jubilee 50th year of 1951 ! The Declaration of Scottish Independence drafted at Arbroath Abby and dated the 6th April 1320, was also in the midst of the Feast of Unleavened Bread: The vernal equinox was the 20th March that year and the 7th April was the 4th day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread that year: the day of Christ’s resurrection on the Biblical annual calendar. So 631 years later (6+3+1=10), on the last 7th Day of Unleavened Bread, being a High Day, the Stone of Scone was placed on the High Alter in the ruins of that very same Arbroath Abby, wrapped in the “Saltire” or “Saint Andrews Cross” - the national flag of Scotland. Saint Andrew was the brother of Peter, and also an apostle and disciple of Christ. In the 1320 “Declaration of Arbroath” the Scott’s claimed to be Israelites who migrated from Egypt to Spain to Ireland and then to Scotland ! Legend has it that the Stone of Scone would sometimes groan when a king was crowned on it. It is now apparent that the Stone of Scone had a flaw in it. It had a faint fracture that could be the cause of the noise when some weightier kings were crowned sitting on it: the fracture gradually progressed further and further under the weight and hence the “groans”. When it was removed from beneath the coronation throne in Westminster Abby on Christmas Day 1950, it finally broke into two pieces in the process. The smaller piece was secretly returned to Scotland almost immediately and the larger piece was returned sometime later. Once re-assembled and re-enforced into the semblance of one stone, it was placed on the alter as described above. When it was later back in Westminster Abby, Queen Elisabeth II was coronated on a broken Stone of Scone - what is the significance and implication of that as we see history unfold ???...........

Is this a town or a school? I’m sorry I’m trying to trace my family roots and they land me here My ancestors paternal uncles were educated here we are kennedys
It's a small town and fast ferry terminal to the mainland. I don't live there, just made the video.
@@robynlawrence4462 Ty I’ was confused because the research I have says my family went to school at st Margaret’s hope Orkneys so I was thinking that was the name of the school
Very pretty scenery. In some ways, I guess depending on what you do for work, your age, lifestyle choice, etc, it might even be better to live there there in Mainland UK nowadays! Thanks for sharing the video:)

What a gem of a video! I feel as though I’ve visited Shetland yet all I have here in Canada is my Shetland Sheepdog laying at my feet
3@@@
Planing my 40th birthday trip there in 2028, I’ve been a big fan of the crime show Shetland and just love the natural beauty of the landscape and its amazing historic buildings and towns. Can’t wait to venture there.
I lived on the other side of Shetland, in Hamnavoe when I was 8-10 and really didn't realise how lucky I was. 19 years later I still haven't been back but am planning to visit, maybe even move permanently one day.
You are absolutely right,in the UK there is a major project under way at the great central railway in Leicestershire at Loughborough to reconnect the two halves of the former great central mainline to creat an,18 mile heritage main line that will allow charter trains to run directly from the midland main line. The G.C.R was closed in the mid 60's as part of the beeching cuts where many lines were closed. Now the heritage railway has already installed a bridge over the main line at Loughborough this was carried out around 4 or 5 years ago, another bridge was rebuilt a steel girder bridge over the union canal was also repaired, all that's left to do is rebuild a section of the embankment and its good to go. The railway were told that this project would be impossible to achieve but with a lot of hard work much of the work has been carried out, so yes your project may well be possible to obtain and achieve , dreams/pipeline projects can be realised, you just need the locals to lend their unwavering support and cooperation.good luck

French are the destroyers of ancient persian heritage. I really hope someday someone hold them accountable for the crimes they did with our heritage.
Don’t let the SNP Joke Factory Waste it🏴🏴🏴🏴
Your guide is an idiot person for entering the restricted area. The barriers are there for a reason dumb ass. Enjoyed your video though thanks for introducing our heritage to the world.
Absolutely the wrong music to play for Persian rugs.
He seems to be hobbling on his left rear leg. It might be broken/swollen.
I visit Shetland and Lerwick i the year 2000. It was one of the best journeys I’v ever made. One of the most beautiful memorys was meeting a very nice dancingteatcher. For a brief moment I had the idea not going back to Sweden.😊❤️ I often think back to that time, some day I will return.😍

Too bad, your video took more shots of the walk thru ramps, and not even shy, straight up shots capturing peoples backsides, frontsides all sides, of complete strangers minding themselves & who may not want to be on this perving video.... You totally missed the whole reason for shooting this video of Tanemahuta God of the Foresr, you really are one of those tourist who played dumb, lacked the simple skills of handling a video camera & failed to give any proper attention to Tanemahuta, totally failing to get the full greatness of the sacred kauri with your useless moving images, like your arms were too short, and an audio of your deaf tone pitchless voice that lacked any enthusiasm. And you seemed to have desecrated the sacred space belonging to Tanemahuta God of the Forest. Was a complete waste of time watching your video. So i made an effort to take the time to dump this comment on you. Dont come back.
This place looks incredible. Thanks for sharing with us 😊 😀
